Phase 1 of Our Renovation is Complete!

We’re thrilled to share the news that our home is undergoing a stunning renovation, blending modern design with thoughtful touches to enhance comfort and accessibility for all our residents and phase one is now complete. These updates reflect our commitment to creating a welcoming and homely environment, where every detail is centred around our residents' well-being and enjoyment.

One of the standout features of the renovation is our brand-new luxury hairdressing facility, now conveniently located on the ground floor. This beautifully designed space ensures easy accessibility for all, with wheelchair-friendly wash basins allowing residents to enjoy a relaxing pamper session in comfort no matter their care needs.

Over on the Stourhead Suite, residents can look forward to a refreshed dining experience. A completely new dining area with a kitchenette has been introduced, where everybody can help themselves to light refreshments. The modernised dining space has been designed with comfort and functionality in mind, featuring more tables and chairs to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for mealtimes and a larger, bright lounge area where they can relax or socialise with friends and family. We have also built two additional, fully furnished bedrooms with ensuite wet rooms, USB charging ports and conveniently placed plug sockets, ensuring both style and practicality.

The Marquess Suite has similarly undergone a renovation. The old dining area has been transformed into two new bedrooms, thoughtfully designed to match the same high standards of comfort and accessibility as those in Stourhead. The independent lounge has been expanded into an open-plan lounge and dining area, complete with a kitchenette. This flexible space is perfect for residents to enjoy meals, relax, or spend time with loved ones. Another exciting feature is the direct access from this area to our beautiful outdoor gardens, where residents can soak up the sunshine, take part in gardening and flower arranging activities, or simply enjoy the peace of the outdoors.

We’re so proud of these changes, which ensure our care home continues to provide a warm and uplifting environment for our residents. Whether it’s relaxing in our new lounges, enjoying a meal in the updated dining spaces, or unwinding in our hairdressing salon, these updates have been carefully planned to make every day at Longbridge Deverill truly special. We can't wait to see what phase 2 of our renovation will hold and look forward to showing it off to everyone when it is completed.
