What is Residential Dementia Care?

Residential Dementia Care provides assistance to individuals who require low-level assistance with everyday tasks and activities such as bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, medication and mobility. Residents can continue their lives at our Care Home in Wiltshire as if it were their own, going about their daily routines and making use of the many services and amenities available. Our compassionate team are available 24 hours a day to assist our residents in living independently, with as little or as much support as they require.

Our Approach to Residential Dementia Care

In addition to residents’ medical needs, we prioritise their overall health, well-being and interests, ensuring they have everything they need to live a happy and fulfilling life. We are devoted to helping individuals live their lives their way, with as much or as little assistance as they need. Our residents can enjoy the benefits of shared living with like-minded people while avoiding the hassles of home ownership.

They have demonstrated an increase in self-confidence and independence, as well as overall well-being and social life, as a result of living in our care home near Salisbury. The best lifestyle we can offer is one that provides variety and meets the needs of whatever the day brings, and we strive to achieve this each and every day.

At Longbridge Deverill Nursing Home, our care professionals stay attentive to and routinely evaluate resident care plans. Should care needs change whilst residing in our care home, our team will collaborate with residents and their loved ones to adapt care plans as necessary whilst ensuring needs continue to be met.
